TalkTime Calling Plans
North Pittsburgh Telephone Company has four TalkTime Calling Plans simply designed to fit your calling needs. These plans let you call anytime, anywhere in the 412, 724, and 878 area codes for a single low monthly rate.

With TalkTime, you choose the plan that's right for you and if you use more than the designated number of minutes, then you will be billed a low rate of $.07 per minute. Please call our Business Office if you would like a free analysis of which calling plan best suits your calling pattern. All plans apply to directly dialed calls from exchanges served by NPTC.

TalkTime 300 - Up to 300 minutes of regional toll (within 412/724/878 area codes) calling anytime of the day for a flat rate of $15.00 per month and a rate of $.07 per each additional minute.

TalkTime 600 - Up to 600 minutes of regional toll (within 412/724/878 area codes) calling anytime of the day for a flat rate of $29.25 per month and a rate of $.07 per each additional minute.

TalkTime 900 - Up to 900 minutes of regional toll (within 412/724/878 area codes) calling anytime of the day for a flat rate of $42.00 per month and a rate of $.07 per each additional minute.

TalkTime 1800 - Up to 1800 minutes of regional toll (within 412/724/878 area codes) calling anytime of the day for a flat rate of $81.00 per month and a rate of $.07 per each additional minute.

Selective Exchange Calling Plan (SECP)
Each North Pittsburgh Telephone Company exchange has specified qualified exchanges for Selective Exchange Calling Plan (SECP) discounts. You have the option of choosing one or more of these exchanges at a monthly charge of $.35 or $.45 per route, depending on the distance of the exchanges you select. For a list of qualifying exchanges, call our business office. All dial station-to-station calls to the designated exchanges will be billed at a rate of $.07 per minute. The toll calls placed from your exchange to the exchanges you have selected will be identified on your bill and will show the discounted price for the call.

Automatic Savings Plan
One way to save money on your regional toll calls is with North Pittsburgh Telephone Company's Automatic Savings Plan. If you make over $21.75 in toll calls each month you will receive a 20% discount. There's nothing for you to fill out or send in - the discount will be applied to your regional toll-calling bill automatically. The discount does not apply to calls included in other optional calling plans to which you currently subscribe.

Inside Wire Maintenance
Begins at the point where the wires enter your home or small business and ends at the outlet where your telephone connects. If you have an inside wiring problem, a repair person will repair the problem at no additional charge.

If you do not subscribe to Inside Wire Maintenance and the problem is found in your inside wiring or telephone equipment, you will be responsible for a visit charge of $30.00 and the repair costs. You may make the repairs yourself, hire a qualified technician or have our repair department do the work. You will be charged $15.00 per 1/4 hour plus any necessary material cost if you choose to have our repair department do the work.
