North Pittsburgh Telephone Company holds high standards for the protection of our customers' privacy. The
only information we obtain about individual visitors to our web site is information supplied voluntarily
by the visitor. This means that you can visit our web address without revealing who you are or giving any
further information about yourself. Like many other organizations, we collect non-individual specific
information about our visitors, but it is used solely for the purpose of improving and evaluating the
effectiveness of our web site.
As required by law, we do not sell or disclose any individually identifiable information obtained about
our on-line visitors unless specifically authorized by that visitor, in accordance with Federally mandated
Customer Proprietary Network Information Guidelines. North Pittsburgh Telephone Company
wants to ensure that information about our customers is protected, and we employ security measures to
safeguard your transactions with us.
Some of our web pages may contain links to other sites on the Internet, and North Pittsburgh Telephone
Company is not responsible and cannot be held liable for the content of or privacy practices employed by

Important Information About Your Privacy Rights
As your telephone service provider, North Pittsburgh Telephone Company ("NPTC" or the "Company") would
like to share with you some facts about the privacy of your customer account information and your rights
to limit how the Company uses that information.
North Pittsburgh Telephone Company does not share your customer account information with outside parties.
However, NPTC would like to be able to share information about your account with our affiliated companies,
Penn Telecom, Inc. and Nauticom. By allowing us to share this information with these affiliated companies,
NPTC may be able to offer you additional communications services that are tailored to meet your needs, may
save you money and time and possibly make your life easier.
It is our responsibility under federal law to protect the confidentiality of your Customer Proprietary
Network Information ("CPNI"), and we take that responsibility seriously. CPNI includes your mailing
address, telephone number; the types of services you receive from NPTC; and other information you have
given us on applications or other forms or in the course of conducting business with us. If you choose
not to permit us to share your CPNI with our affiliated companies, the services you are currently
receiving from NPTC will not be affected.
You have the right to instruct us not to share your CPNI with our affiliated companies. If you DO NOT
want us to share your CPNI with our affiliated companies, please contact NPTC by one of the following
methods within thirty (30) days.
- Contact our Customer Service Department at:
For Residential Customers - (724) 443-9521 or (800) 541-9225
For Business Customers - (724) 443-9535 or (800) 635-6949
- Email us at nptorder@nptc.com. Please include your full name, address and account number.
- Write to us at: North Pittsburgh Telephone Company
Customer Service department
4008 Gibsonia Road
Gibsonia, PA 15044
You only need to inform us that you do not wish to have your CPNI information shared with other parties.
If we have not heard from you within thirty (30) days, it will indicate that you have granted us permission
to share your CPNI with our affiliated companies. Your CPNI may be used for marketing or other purposes.
Your permission will allow us to inform you of new and competitive products or services that may be of
benefit to you. Your permission to allow NPTC to use your CPNI will remain in effect until such time as
you decide to revoke it. You have the right to deny or withdraw access to your CPNI at any time, by
informing us through one of the methods listed above.
You should be aware that enrollment in the National Do Not Call List and/or the Pennsylvania Do Not Call
List does not take the place of notifying NPTC of your decision to deny us access to your CPNI. As your
current telephone service provider, NPTC meets the "established business relationship" exception to the
federal and state Do Not Call List rules. Therefore, even if you are registered on the Do Not Call List(s),
you still must respond to this notification if you do not want your CPNI shared with our affiliated
companies.
If you have any questions about this notification, please feel free to contact our Customer Service
Department at the numbers listed above. Thank you.
